scooby comic find, 70s gold key comics
« on: January 22, 2016, 12:01:54 AM »
so i found out that a lot of the Dell comics from the 70s were all adaptations from the episodes, though they also included some original stories as well included. not all of them were based on episodes but my collection contained quite a few classics. sadly i don't have the whole collection and the site i got them from was a bit sporadic-- the last of the 70s stuff would spurr off into a 90s revival with all new stories. but i bet the missing comics would include a few other priceless sneezing moments from scooby as they were in the original. :3

i'll try looking for more but Kaskus is a bit hard to navigate (the site in itself is in broken english and indonesion. i can't figure out a way to look for *specific* items right now). i'd have to know the specific issue in which the sneeze took place or the episode in particular and see if it's up. thankfully they're all on Sendspace or FileFactory, anything they post on megaupload/rapidshare is dead.

thanks! ^^ there's a lot of comics on that site. the disney comics vary in quality, so i tend to look more into the warner bros/animaniacs/scooby stuff. too bad there's only one tiny toons comic on there. D:

Hey, I remember that episode! ;D It was one of the first instances of sneezing in television that I can remember. Funny enough, Velma is in Scooby's place in the episode, and the one who sneezes from the feather. I wonder why they changed it for the comic?
"Check out the bees; they don't buzz around for money. They do it for free -- makin' love, makin' honey. Spreading pollen; how can you not fall in love!? And it might make you sneeze, but you better believe it's beautiful stuff."
