The host grins as the wheel slows and stops on the image of a small insect. The host announced that the next item to be used was a common house fly. A very small fly flew down from the rafters landing on the hosts microphone to greet everyone one with a simple buzz, waving one of its tiny six legs.
The nameless fly took flight and hovers around Feral's face, waiting for the signal to start.
“Are you ready, Commander Feral?”
The broad shouldered cat gave a nod. The host starts the countdown from three then yells along with the audience. “Don't sneeze!”
The fly quickly got to work shooting up into the feline's nose. It was dark inside, nearly impossible to move because of the massive amount of nose hairs. This made it impossible for the fly to get in too deep.
The first thirty seconds ticked by and all the reaction Feral showed was a simple twitch of his nose.
Refusing to lose and let Feral win, the fly got to work. The fly forcefully crawled in between the forest of nose hair. The hairs swayed and moved as the fly pushed past them, causing the tips of each hair to brush against the walls of the nasal cavity.
Feral blinks, feeling a suddenly powerful tickle appear, nose scrunching up against his will.
The fly felt this subtle movement from inside Feral's nose, the floor trembling and moving beneath his six tiny feet. With a buzz he continued deeper, pushing forward. Tiny legs tickling the base of each nose hair the fly passed.
“Eh...HeH!” The large feline felt himself lose control, eyes forcing themselves closed and head tilting back ever so slightly.
They had just made it to the ten second mark, all Feral has to do is hold out until then.
“10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2!”
The fly finally pushed himself to that spot located far up into Feral's nostril, triggering the unstoppable sneeze.
“Ahhhah-hA! Hax'KuU!”
The body bending sneeze sent the fly sailing through the air, landing roughly on the ground with a splat. A normal fly would have been killed, but this fly was far from normal. Flapping its tiny wings and flying out of sight.
The host stepped back up to Feral, offering the large feline a tissue. “You were so close, Feral! You were only one second off. I was pulling for you to. Thanks for playing.”
Feral grumbled as he stepped back stage.
“Let's give our next contestant a hand.” The crowd begins applauding as Vanessa steps on to center stage, blushing and waving to the audience.
“It's nice to see you Vanessa. are you ready to play the game?” Vanessa nods her head once to answer the host.
