Commission Cave / Summer 2018 Commissions
« on: May 22, 2018, 08:22:12 PM »
I've made quite a few changes this year!! Pretty much no-one has commissioned me for fully rendered traditional artwork in the past, so it's off the menu this year aside from comics and sketches. The way I'm doing comic pages is also changing; I've decided to put in a sizing system to give a little more flexibility as to how long the customer wants the sequence to be, and also to cut back on both underselling and charging per panel. Digital comics are now an option as well! However, they will be sketch/line art only.

Now then...

SKETCHES (Can be traditional or digital at the customer's request)
-Single Headshot: $5.00
-Single Half-Body: $7.00
-Single Full Body: $10.00
-Add Sequence: $2.00 each per part

-Add traditional ink: $2.50
-Add traditional color: $2.50
-Add digital ink: $2.00
-Add digital color: $2.00

Sequences can be added in any order as requested by the customer.
Digital ink and color can be added to traditional sketches at the customer's request.

Sample sequences
Sketch examples

-Single Headshot: $10.00
-Single Half-Body: $15.00
-Single Full-Body: $20.00
-Add Sequence: $2.00 each per part

-Single Headshot: $15.00
-Single Half-Body: $20.00
-Single Full-Body: $25.00
-Add Sequence: $2.00 each per part

Digital artwork examples

-Comics can be traditional or digital upon the customer's request
-Traditional comics can have digital line art added to substitute ink
-Up to 3 main (named or speaking) characters can be included free of charge, with an additional $5 charge for every main character beyond that
Backgrounds and background characters do not cost extra

-Small Comic Page (2-4 panels per page): $5.00 per page
-Medium Comic Page (5-7 panels per page): $10.00 per page
-Large Comic Page (8-10+ panels per page): $15.00 per page, with an additional $3 charge per page for every additional panel beyond 10

Nudity is optional but can be added at the customer's request. It is an additional $3 charge, and I must know that the character(s) being drawn, the client purchasing, and the client potentially receiving the commission (should the commission not be for the buyer) are 18+ before adding.

Backgrounds do not cost extra.

Interested in something that you aren't seeing here (reference sheets, icons, etc)? Feel free to message me and I can work out a price quote for you!

Art, Art, and Art! / [M - Messy - Induced] Happy Birthday To Choo!
« on: July 27, 2017, 02:59:55 PM »
This will be up on DA soon; however, it's just easier for me to drop the stash link here...

This was a big big project I had done for PartyPony18! Alec had asked me to create a comic-esque set of pictures for Theangelicdaemon (Pepper), and I was happy to oblige! I'm honestly rather proud of myself for being able to get through this commission in one piece; in the past something this big would have burned me out, but I'm still going.

Enjoy guys!

And commissions are... yeah... you know

Art, Art, and Art! / [F - Canine - Anthro] Sneezoi
« on: July 26, 2017, 04:35:44 PM »
Not a traditional "humanoid" anthro, but anthro nonetheless. :3

This was a commission for a friend on Tumblr! Her fursona (as you can probably infer from the title)  is a borzoi. I actually did two versions of this, with one having slightly altered text on the release, but this is the one that I liked best.

And as always, commissions are still open this summer! All you have to do for an inquiry is message me here, or email me, or maybe write me a letter, or you could always send a carrier pigeon...

Ayy, doing that thing again where I'm taking commissions!! Lowered my prices a bit for this particular type of art, and also tried to make it a little more clear about what exactly I'm offering and how it's generally executed.

All information can be found within the Tumblr link below, including my TOS. You can contact me here, at, or at whatever is listed there for inquiries.

(and as always, if I've posted this in the wrong board, don't hesitate to move it)

Netflix original stop motion series centering on a group of anthro truck racers. The humor isn't quite up my alley, but the animation is pretty cool to watch.

In the aptly named episode "Sneezing Fits of Death," there are multiple sneezes from a handful of characters due to a bad-smelling cologne they're allergic to. And they're all in fits of triples from every single character, which is unique.

All of the sneezes in the first half of the episode are from Junior (a pig/warthog-type character) but later on we get some from Buddy himself (a German Shepherd?), Darnell (a weasel), Jacko (a jackalope), and a background character who also appears to be some type of weasel.

Books and Comics / [F - Foxes - Flowers] Floral Frolic

Rather than bring the old topic on this back around, I figured it was better to make a new one and properly get the infodump going.

Perhaps some of you remember this post that FS had made in 2014? The topic itself never got any replies, but I do remember coming back to this post every once in a blue moon because the illustration always stuck out in my mind. It was so soft and lovely, and just plain cute.

I was doing a little poking around on Etsy -- a lot of vendors sell vintage books that have to do with sneezing (which could very well take up its own topic, but that's for another time), and I was curious as to what I might find. And lo and behold, what should I see, but the illustration of these foxes! Turns out, the publishing of the book had been funded through Kickstarter in 2015, and is on sale through Etsy.

The scene in context of the book

Kickstarter page w/ character info

And, just for fun, because this is how I got to the book's sale page  in the first place...
Messenger bag you can buy with the sneezy foxes printed on it.

Whoops, this derailed a little bit. I just wanted to give enough info -- I know this thing was a mystery for a while...

A long while back I had mentioned that I vaguely remembered there being a cooking segment in which Theo and Cleo both sneeze from pepper. After a bit of careful searching, I was able to locate it! I have a feeling there may be one more that's under the radar somewhere, but here's this for now.

Annnnd I've also managed to find that elusive episode where Cleo gets sick!! ~7:14, ~7:32, ~11:17, ~11:36, 21:33.

Hey guys! It's, ah, been a while, hasn't it?

You know the story, I'm sure -- school and a few other things have been keeping me occupied, and I've been bursting with ideas but have just not been able to carve out the time I want to execute them. However, I was taking requests over on my Tumblr a few weeks ago, and someone had asked for me to draw one of my OCs with a bad cold.

I've been developing the hell out of this particular character and her little piece of my world lately, so I figured she would be the one I'd pick on!
(That's her girlfriend [Willow] who's blessing her, by the by. c:)

I actually have some collab stuff I did over the summer with Erudi that I've been meaning to upload forever, so maybe I'll get around to that in the near future!

I Found Something! / Nature Cat [M]

I've been having this sort of weird fascination with this show -- probably thanks to the incredible cast of SNL-ers that's attached to it. Specifically Kate McKinnon as Squeeks >w>.

I knew about one of these episodes since the summer, but the other one was a complete and total surprise within watching. I'm also only halfway through the current season, so there could be  more that I don't know about yet.

Both of these instances are from the same character, Hal, who is coincidentally played by the same VA as Panda on We Bare Bears.

Cave Conundrum -- There's a flashback bit in here showing Hal catching his flying discs in several different types of weather. The last one they show is him in spring (the day is even described as "a warm spring day with a high allergy count" :P) , where he lands in a field of flowers and sneezes.
(Alternately, should that link be taken down, it can be found here. ~2:08)

Fall for Hal -- This one features him with a cold throughout the episode, though he only is really shown at the beginning and end. Three sneezes from him in total, but a lot weaker than the singular one in my opinion. The first two can be found here (~0:16, ~0:26), and the full episode is here on KissCartoon (~23:27)

I Found Something! / Something Else - The Big Sneezy [M]
« on: May 29, 2016, 11:26:17 PM »

Strange obscure find in a whole batch of strange and obscure things I found last night. Haven't watched all the way through, but (I'm assuming) sneezes throughout, starting from ~0:41 from the elephant-like creature, from allergies.

There are a couple of other sneezes from the show, some that I've admittedly been sitting on. :P

Bad Hair Day (~21:21 offscreen, Zoe (dog), random, F)
Proud as a Peacock (~12:35, Basil (peacock), allergies, M)
Some Assistance Required (~10:53-11:28, ~12:17 Russell (hedgehog), and ~12:03, Zoe (dog). All from sneezing powder.)

I was just reminded of this upon watching an episode of WBB for the first time in a while. My sister showed this to me way back in January, but I've been forgetting to post it. Until now, of course.

The sneezes are all the way at the end (~3:15). If you want to know WHY they're sneezing, though, I'm gonna suggest you watch the whole thing. It's just under 4 minutes long and super cute.

I Found Something! / The Paz Show -- "Spring Has Sprung" [F, Rabbit]
« on: January 17, 2016, 12:40:44 AM »
HERE'S something I've been looking for for the better half of the last 6 or so years!

So when I was still in elementary school, I went through a phase where I would wake up a couple of hours before school so I could watch "The Magic School Bus" on Discovery (before they made the channel exclusive). But some days I'd be up a little too early, and would have to sit through the end of this show.

I remember seeing this episode during the part with the sneezes, but it took me years to figure out the title of it and even longer to locate it. I know there's another episode where his mom is sick too, but I don't remember if there were any sneezes in that.

Anyway! ~2:24, ~2:39, ~2:48, all from Rabbit because of a cold. :3

(other things from this show are here and here, by the by. I just... I'm such a sucker for this show's art style. ;w;)

Spontaneous finds this morning, plus something I've been meaning to post!! I guess this show's second season is under way, and there have already been a few sneezes from it so far

The one I've been meaning post was from the season 1 episode "Parroting Pedro." Mr. Dillo the armadillo sneezes twice from his nose being tickled by Sparky's tail. If I remember correctly, I think only one sneeze has sound to it, but the moment is still pretty cute.

And two separate finds from new season 2 episodes, including a sneeze from Peck, which I've been hoping would happen for some time now.

"A Fistful of Flowers" -- One sneeze from Farmer Stinky (skunk) from a cold. This episode is actually a little disappointing because a majority of the townsfolk also have colds in the beginning, but are cured immediately with no sneezing at all. There are these cute shots of them sitting around all red-nosed, though, which is kind  of fun.

"Quiltin' Time" -- One sneeze from Peck (woodpecker), caused by dust.

All are available on iTunes at the moment.

Books and Comics / Chimpansneeze [F & M]
« on: November 14, 2015, 02:33:40 AM »

Very interesting accidental find while browsing my recommended books on Amazon this afternoon. x'DD

There's no preview for it unfortunately, but there is a YouTube video of someone reading through it. Surprisingly, there are only two sneezes total in this book; the rest is all comprised of puns.

-edit- Okay, so the Chimpanzee is female, and the Kinkajou is male. (See what happens when I actually decide to watch the video I link instead of just scrubbing through it on mute.)

One of my favorite childhood shows that Cartoon Network's been playing reruns of in the morning. Which is awesome, because while memories of certain episodes are fuzzy, there are also a good number of them I haven't seen yet.

Like this one! A little way into the episode, the babies are all doing chores, and Tweety sneezes himself away while dusting a table.

I Found Something! / [Needs Clipped] Mia and Me - King for a Day
« on: August 17, 2015, 08:12:09 PM »
Just an educated guess based on the episode titles presented on Wikipedia, but perhaps it is "The Unicorn Trap"?

I'll have a look myself, but by the episode description you're giving, that title seems to be the most logical.

-edit- Not that one. I'm gonna go searching more in-depth.

I don't even think it's been an hour yet, and I've already found another episode with sneezing in it! Not the one we're looking for, but an accidental find. x'D My sixth-sneeze-sense is a strong one. -- Not only are the king and queen sick and sneezy in the beginning, but in the culmination of the plot, the characters are in a location called the Sparkle Pollen Fields. Most of the sneezes are coming from the fairies, but the unicorn is sneezing as well.

~9:35-~10:18, with one from the redhead a little before this. There's more human sneezing from about 11 minutes or so onwards for the interested, but the listed section of time is where all of the unicorn sneezes are.

New reboot of Alvin and the Chipmunks on Nickelodeon that premiered on Sunday. I caught the second episode while getting ready for work on Tuesday, and surprise surpirse -- there was a sneeze in there!

"Jeanette Enchanted" -- Two from Jeanette (the female Simon counterpart), caused by Alvin sprinkling chili pepper powder on her nose.

On a related note, was there every anything in the original series or other related media besides from Dave?
Not like I ever kept up with it (it was easily ahead of my time), but I do recall watching the "Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet Frankenstein" movie, and in that Theodore tells Frankenstein to come in because he doesn't want him to catch a cold.  :P
