Hey guys! It's, ah, been a while, hasn't it?

You know the story, I'm sure -- school and a few other things have been keeping me occupied, and I've been bursting with ideas but have just not been able to carve out the time I want to execute them. However, I was taking requests over on my Tumblr a few weeks ago, and someone had asked for me to draw one of my OCs with a bad cold.

I've been developing the hell out of this particular character and her little piece of my world lately, so I figured she would be the one I'd pick on!

I actually have some collab stuff I did over the summer with Erudi that I've been meaning to upload forever, so maybe I'll get around to that in the near future!

Lovely art, but I want to know more about the characters!  You tease us by saying that you've put a lot of work into developing them without telling us what they're like!   :)   We've got a Dalmatian, and I can't tell what breed Willow is supposed to be . . .

Thank you, and ahh, I know! I'm so bad about that. xD

Ariel is actually a Dalmatian/Border Collie mix, and Willow is a Beagle/Chocolate Lab mix. They're both college students living together in the city -- Ariel is a year younger than Willow and is training to be a competitive long distance/agility runner, while Willow is working on pursuing a career in fashion or fashion business (particularly working in sportswear and macro/micro clothing). The two of them are also the primary caretakers of Ripley, Ariel's cousin, who is a micro Border Collie.

If you want to read up on their most basic details, that can be found here and here. I'm still fleshing out their full personalities, respective backstories, and the story of how they met. But just developing them to this point has been so refreshing and oddly cathartic.

Quite a bit. xD I've had a lot of these guys for several years now -- I like working with a rotating "cast" of characters, though. And I've sort of made it a goal to flesh them out even further moving forward into 2017.

So I assume Willow eventually caught this cold?  Or is she the one who gave it to Ariel in the first place?
