Lethargic Insomnia
« on: August 07, 2008, 10:42:26 AM »
Good freaking grief it sucks to be TIRED and lazy feeling but not to be able to sleep. Don't get crap done after a certain point, not motivated to do anything even recreational, but at the same time cannot get to sleep. Sigh...

I get that a lot of the time, usually i'll stay up for 3 or 4 days then sleep for 6 or so hours and then it happens again.

I can relate to that disturbingly well, though I dont often get insomnia.
furries and sneezing just fits together so perfectly.

Eh, I can kind of relate.  I certainly know the feeling of being utterly exhausted, unable to perform any task properly, not even wanting to recreate.  Generally, though, I can still fall asleep (although not sleeping until the wee hours is by no means uncommon for me.)  Frankly, having that coupled with abject insomnia sounds awful - so good luck on, uh, zonking yourself out?

I normally have stayupseveraldaysinarowactingreallyhyperzoomingal loverpassoutaroundnextweek insomnia. I rarely get any other kind, but when I do it sucks.

I'm mostly the opposite...I'm partially nocturnal myself, can go on just a few hours of sleep but god I NEVER want to leave the bed after, even if I'm not even close to sleeping. x3

Yeah, snuggly jackal here, hehe x3

I know *exactly* what you mean.  Ah, the warm, snuggly confines of a comfy bed; preferably with big, plump pillows and a poofy duvet!

In fact, I've been known to turn the air-conditioner thermostat down to uncomfortably cool levels just to heighten the sensation of warmth in my bed.  My electricity company must love me.
