Title: Garry's Mod Animations - M - Yoshi, Bowser - Pollen, Feather
Post by: RyuunosukeKuorsawa96 on March 08, 2021, 11:16:35 PM
I've started a YouTube channel to post some projects that I'm working on. Playing with Garry's Mod and several assets therein have yielded several possibilities for me to contribute some good sneeze animations. So far I've only created two, but I plan on making more, and though it's not a definite decision yet, I might take commissions for animations in Garry's Mod in the future. If I do end up deciding to do it, I'll post my commission credentials later on. In the meantime, here are the animations I've done:

Bowser (this one has subtitles for his dialogue ;)): https://youtu.be/HXFCBl48SI0

OoOOOoOhoohoooo!!~
Goodness, I reeeEEeeally like the Bowser one <3 <3
His desperation not to sneeze, and the REALLY nice use of Bowser sound effects~
The TREMBLING nose is so well animated too~
And the huffing chest, the desperate expression~
Oh I would LOVE to see more of these <3 <3

Glad you like them. The Bowser one is my personal favorite too. That was so fun to work with, especially with the huffing chest and trembling nose, not to mention the fiery release. The sound sync was fun too because I already had the sounds on hand and was able to add more to the video which would have otherwise been silent were it not for them. X3

I'm gonna be uploading one more in the near future. It's taking a really long time due to some assets being a little troublesome to work with, but I'll definitely link it when it's done.

That sounds lovely <3 <3
Bowser's trembling nose sucking in that feather was lovely~
His gasping buildup~ <3

These are wonderful!

I have tried making animations like this before, but quickly gave up on it due to a lack of skill and/or motivation. I've been meaning to work on my own projects lately, and seeing this genuinely inspired me.

I'm looking forward to your next upload!

I actually learned how to animate from a couple tutorial videos that aren't that difficult to find on YouTube. If you'd like me to give you the links to get you started, let me know in a message. I'll also be happy to provide you with the names of the tools that I use for my animations.

There's that one Krystal model that is floating around. The original one, not the modified one with balloon breasts. That'd be my vote for a future character.

I'll see what I can do. ;)

And sorry for the short reply earlier. I've been very busy these days. It's neat to see a different type of content. I'm not too surprised there isn't much 3D sneeze stuff; if you go the detailed route, the expressions are really complicated, after all! So many facial muscles, the whole body moves from these things. :P

Getting the entire body to move convincingly is a real challenge, it's usually what keeps me from finishing projects like these.

It is pretty tough, but it's all worth while when you're able to capture it convincingly. Makes you feel like you've achieved something great.
