« on: April 14, 2021, 02:34:27 AM »
I'm now officially open for commissions if anyone wants a comic or animation. I've got my prices listed here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1S4P3QrsSvXR2fG-dTmbsCdGyA8Sdgtq3acvnTIgi2N8/edit?usp=sharing

Pricing examples can be based on the two previous animations I posted in this thread: http://sneezefurs.org/index.php?topic=4312.msg22764#msg22764

For Yoshi:
1 character (Yoshi): $10
1 effect (1 spray sneeze): $15
Yoshi's voice clips: $20
Difficulty factor: minimal (no charge)
Total: $55

For Bowser:
1 character (Bowser): $10
1 prop (1 feather): $10
1 effect (1 fiery sneeze): $15
Bowser's voice clips: $20
Difficulty factor: medium (launching sneeze): $25
Total: $80

If you have any questions or would like to commission me, let me know in a message please. :) I look forward to working with you.

I am in full support of you making something out of your projects, and I love your little animations. But for something like the Yoshi animation, I apologize if I sound rude for $75 for something like that is incredibly steep. Especially so with $100 for something like what you did with Bowser
I hope you find attention and can benefit from your work, but as politely as I can, I urge you to reconsider and possibly rework your prices. That's just my personal view on it
Coochie coo, you'll sneeze soon~

@ UC - A lot of what he has itemized seems to come from... voice work? I'm not sure I understand that aspect's cost. The rest isn't too overpriced, provided that he also continues to work on his craft and create plenty in his spare time to continue to hone his skills and practice new techniques. (Disclaimer: I come from the early internet where it was predominantly hobby-craft, as well as coming from a very-poor background.)

The aspect of charging the extra $40 for both Yoshi's and Bowser's voices was simply an example of the difficulty of finding the right voice clips, especially considering that there are multiple different games to choose from for Yoshi in particular to come up with the proper sound for his sneeze. Bowser's was arguably the easiest, but editing his sound clips to make him sound like a sneeze was building was pretty tough, especially considering I used just the video editor to trim the sounds down. That said, I see your point, and I'll consider reducing the cost of simply finding sounds and audio clips by half, though I still stand by the fact that I'll need at least $80 to request the cooperation/commissioning of voice actors per character for the sake of being able to pay them too.
